Shea Terra Organics Shea Butter Review
Shea Terra Organic Shea Butter is an intense way to help heal dry cracked skin, and many common conditions that leave your skin rough, scaly and dry. It even helps to erase stretch marks and reverse the skin’s aging process.
It’s purely refined, so it doesn’t have the scent of other shea butters, yet it still contains all of the same amazing healing benefits. Living in a dry climate, this Shea Butter has seriously helped to heal my skin, year round.
It’s great for to use on hands, feet and elbows to help repair the damage that comes from daily life.
Because it’s unscented, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to give it any scent you like! I like to keep it on hand to use when my skin needs a little extra TLC. It’s been a game changer for me, see for yourself!!
Applications: Use daily on all skin types to maintain healthy skin and to slow down aging of the skin.
Dry skin: Massage into skin once or twice a day. Shea butter will lasts for up to 24 hours on skin without the need to be reapplied. Because shea butter absorbs into skin (unlike pore clogging oils and lotions which sit on top of the skin and are easy to feel) it often goes undetected.
Skin conditions: For conditions such as eczema and psoriasis a daily application is all that is needed. It is important not to skip a day of use for best results.
Burn & wound care: Slightly warm enough butter to cover the area. Gently apply to clean, affected area. Apply twice daily until area has healed.
Massage: Slightly warm a little of the butter and massage into skin. Shea butter is one of the best mediums for massage as it does not clog pores and readily absorbs into skin. A warm shea butter massage is a treat to relieve stress.
Bath: Melt a teaspoonful of shea butter in your hot bath. The oil will settle on your skin. After bath lightly dry skin with a towel for hours of shea soft skin.
Notes* “Realizing the immense impact that a single ingredient like shea butter could have on the world, Tammie Umbel began seeking out other rare and indigenous ingredients that could enhance or compliment the benefits of shea butter.
Working closely with cooperatives, scientists, conservationists and non-profits, Tammie actively seeks out ingredients little known outside of remote parts of Africa. Not only are these time-tested ingredients highly therapeutic, they also bring income and awareness to preserve natural habitats, which would otherwise be destroyed.
Shea Terra Organics was thus re-branded in a quest to reveal Africa’s ancient skin care therapies — in time to preserve them before they are lost forever.”
